The Custom Mechanical Keyboard Built for Those Who Refuse to Compromise
The Keychron Q3 Max is an 80% TKL wireless mechanical keyboard engineered for typists, creators, and discerning gamers who want a truly custom-grade experience without building from scratch. Housed in a precision-machined aluminium case with a multi-layer gasket-mount construction and an arsenal of acoustic foams, it delivers a typing feel that rivals boards costing far more — ready to use straight out of the box in Shell White.
A Sound and Feel You’ll Notice Immediately
Tired of hollow, rattly keyboards that undermine every keystroke? The Q3 Max addresses this from the ground up. Its gasket mount — with 16 gaskets absorbing shock between the plate and case — pairs with sound-absorbing foam, IXPE foam, PET film, and bottom case acoustic dampening to produce a deep, satisfying thock that transforms typing into something genuinely enjoyable. The PC plate and screw-in PCB stabilisers keep every key consistent and wobble-free, session after session.
Total Connectivity, Zero Compromise on Speed
The Q3 Max gives you three ways to connect: 2.4GHz wireless at 1000Hz polling rate for latency-free responsiveness, Bluetooth 5.1 at 90 Hz for seamless multi-device pairing, or USB Type-C wired when you want a direct, uninterrupted link. Switch between your gaming PC, work laptop, and tablet without missing a beat. The included Type-A 2.4 GHz receiver and extension adapter ensure a stable signal wherever your setup demands it, and N-Key Rollover across both wireless and wired modes means every simultaneous keypress is registered accurately.
Built to Be Yours — Fully Hot-Swappable and QMK/VIA Ready
Every aspect of the Q3 Max is designed to bend to your preferences. The hot-swap PCB accepts a wide range of switches — simply pull and replace the Gateron Jupiter Red switches using the included keycap and switch puller, no soldering required. Full QMK and VIA support means you can remap every key, create macros, and adjust lighting profiles through open-source software at any time. The dedicated control knob adds an analogue layer of control for volume, media, or any function you assign — a small addition that makes a significant daily difference.
