Cleaner Air and Comfortable Humidity, All in One

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro is designed for households that want more than just filtered air. By combining a HEPA + Carbon purification stage with a high-capacity evaporative humidifier in a single appliance, it tackles dust, allergens, bacteria, and dry indoor air without the need for two separate devices. Whether it is allergy season, a dry winter, or simply the daily grind of indoor pollution in the modern South African home, this purifier adapts to deliver comfortable, breathable air year-round.

Purification First, Then Humidification

Tired of humidifiers that simply recirculate unclean air? The Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro routes air through a dedicated HEPA + Carbon purification filter before it ever reaches the humidification stage, so the moisture delivered into your room is already clean. The result is humidification that hydrates rather than contaminates. A UV-C sterilisation module built into the water circuit continuously works to deactivate bacteria in the water pathway, while the cool evaporative method produces no mist or water marks on furniture. With a rated humidification capacity of 1800 mL/h and an 8 L water tank, it can humidify continuously for up to 16 hours in sleep mode without a refill.

Removes 12 Common Air Pollutants

From fine particulate matter to household bacteria and pet dander, the dual-filter system is tested against a broad range of pollutants. The HEPA + Carbon filter combination targets PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 particles, as well as allergens from cat dander, dog dander, and dust mites. A 400 m³/h CADR rating means a 24 m² living room can be purified in around 10 minutes, while smaller spaces such as a children’s room or bedroom are cleared even faster. The air quality sensor monitors PM1, PM2.5, dust, temperature, and humidity in real time, so you always know exactly what you are breathing.

Whisper-Quiet Nights and Smart Daily Control

Sleep mode brings noise down to just 14.6 dB(A) — a level so low it is unlikely to disturb even light sleepers — while the LCD dome display automatically dims its brightness to match the ambient light in your room. During the day, the Xiaomi Home app gives you full remote control: check air quality readings, adjust humidity targets, schedule on/off times, monitor filter life, and create smart home scenes. Voice control via Google Assistant and Alexa means you can make adjustments without touching the unit. The 360° swivel caster wheels make it easy to move the purifier between rooms as needed, so clean air follows you through the home.

Practical Design Built for Everyday Life

Refilling the 8 L water tank requires no bending — simply top up from above or remove the tank entirely using the built-in handle. An illuminated water level indicator keeps you informed at a glance, and a child safety lock prevents accidental changes by little hands or curious pets. The washable humidification filter extends service life and simplifies maintenance, while the anti-backflow water circuit design helps reduce water discolouration and dirt build-up over time. Power consumption in purification-only mode is 36 W, rising to 55 W when humidification is active.
